Licensed Automotive Technician

Position Overview:

At Ontario Motor Sales, the Licensed Automotive Technician is an essential member of the service team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to meet dealership and manufacturer standards. This role ensures that customer vehicles are serviced accurately, efficiently, and safely with exceptional attention to detail and comprehensive technical and mechanical expertise.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct thorough inspections in accordance with dealership standards and manufacturer guidelines
  • Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technology-based issues and complete repairs as outlined in repair orders.
  • Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission services, battery replacements, and headlight/taillight installations.
  • Work closely with Service Advisors and the parts department to provide clear and timely updates on repair status, provide updates on additional repairs needed or delays encountered, and verify parts availability.
  • Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines, ensuring accurate documentation to support warranty claims.
  • Conduct road tests on repaired vehicles to ensure proper functionality and quality of repairs; verify that vehicles are returned to customers in clean condition, maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction.

Sales and Leasing Representative

Position Overview:

At Ontario Motor Sales, the Sales and Leasing Representative plays a vital role in creating a positive dealership experience for customers within the New and Pre-Owned Vehicle Departments. Through professional customer engagement and extensive product knowledge, the Sales and Leasing Representative supports customers throughout the sales and leasing process.

What You’ll Do:

  • Interact with customers in an enthusiastic, professional manner to help them find a vehicle that suits their needs.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Execute vehicle sales and leasing transactions in accordance with OMVIC regulations and dealership procedures, consistently aiming to achieve or exceed sales targets through effective sales and negotiation strategies.
  • Develop a firm understanding of the dealership’s new and pre-owned vehicle inventory, helping customers to make informed decisions.
  • Deliver high-quality demonstrations of vehicle features and capabilities tailored to customer interests.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding vehicles, financing, and leasing options.
  • Conduct follow-up interactions to ensure customers are satisfied with their purchase.
  • Support the dealership’s success by performing additional duties as requested by management.
